Quartermaster, Mark Shimala here

Hello, my name is Mark Shimala. I am the Quartermaster/Adjutant/Webmaster for VFW Post 3903 in Rosenberg, Texas. I am 36 yrs old. I served in the US Army for 13 years and completed one combat tour in Iraq, 2005-2006. I served under the 101st Abn. Division in Tikrit, Iraq.

I am a BST for Windstream Communications in Sugarland, Texas. I install, repair, and maintain various telecom equipment, data networks, and PBX systems. I have a wife and a 13 yr old son. We enjoy taking our 29 foot travel trailer out to campgrounds whenever we get a chance. We also love to take the kayaks out on the lake with us too. Hiking, biking, anything to do with the water....we just love the outdoors, and Texas has lots of great State Parks that allow us to do those things we enjoy.
